Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to digital accessibility and making the Pubs Management platform usable by everyone.
1. Our Commitment
TekSpert Ltd is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.
2. Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities, including:
- Visual impairments (blindness, low vision, colour blindness)
- Hearing impairments
- Motor impairments
- Cognitive impairments
Our current conformance status is partially conformant. We are actively working to achieve full Level AA conformance and are committed to addressing any issues identified.
3. Measures Taken
TekSpert Ltd takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Semantic HTML is used throughout the platform, including appropriate heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and ARIA attributes where necessary
- Colour contrast ratios are maintained at or above WCAG AA requirements (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
- All interactive elements are keyboard-accessible
- Focus indicators are visible on all focusable elements
- Images include descriptive alternative text
- The platform does not restrict user zoom or text scaling
- Touch targets meet the minimum 44x44 pixel requirement
- Content reflows appropriately up to 200% browser zoom
4. Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, we are aware of the following limitations:
- Some complex interactive components (such as the drag-and-drop rota builder) may not be fully accessible to screen reader users. Keyboard alternatives are available for critical functions.
- Some third-party content or integrations may not fully conform to WCAG 2.2 AA. We work with our partners to improve accessibility where possible.
- PDF documents generated by the platform may not be fully tagged for accessibility.
We are actively working to address these limitations and welcome feedback from users to help us identify and fix accessibility issues.
